Vacancy Description:

Barry Fogg Electrical are an Electrical Installation Company based in Birkenhead. We are looking for a hardworking, responsible person to work alongside our Project Manager in an administrative support role.

What will the apprentice be doing?

  1. Customer invoicing using dedicated finance software
  2. Assisting with scheduling of employee workloads
  3. Communicating with employees including distribution of workloads and business communications
  4. Communicating with suppliers, ordering material and building relationships
  5. Sending emails including writing and editing company correspondence
  6. General filing and keeping customer databases up to date
  7. Interacting with customers either on the phone, in person or via email
  8. Making travel arrangements for employees
  9. Learning about the company's mission and available products/services
  10. Building relationships with customers and educating them about what products/services are available
  11. Preparing, printing and copying documents
  12. Collecting and sorting post
  13. Assisting with Public Relations duties including website/social media updates
  14. Maintain employee company Health & Safety records and updating training matrix
  15. Assisting with enforcing company Health & Safety policy
  16. Assisting with submission of documents for Health & Safety accreditations
  17. Assisting with submission of quotations
  18. Participating in office meetings and taking meeting minutes
  19. Chasing up overdue customer accounts
  20. Maintaining company diary including employee workload, scheduling of repetitive workloads and company vehicle servicing
  21. Issuing of PPE to employees and maintenance of database
  22. Providing general office support and being ready for any other administrative tasks that are required
