The Business Administration Apprentice will support the Employment PA in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of CG’s Chorley office. This role involves a variety of administrative tasks, requiring excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. The ideal candidate must possess a ‘can do’ attitude and will be proactive, reliable, and capable of multitasking in what can sometimes be a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and development within our firm. As our new Business Administration Apprentice, you will be guided by seasoned professionals, gaining access to a wealth of knowledge and developing exceptional skills that will pave the way for a successful career in office support and beyond.

Key Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:

  • assisting with general office duties such as photocopying, printing and scanning documents;
  • handling incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries, ensuring that post log is kept up to date;
  • answering and directing phone calls, taking messages as needed;
  • maintaining office supplies and ensure the office is tidy and well-organised;
  • assisting with client onboarding and billing;
  • assisting in arranging facilities for internal and external meetings and help in the preparation of materials for those meetings, if necessary;
  • greet and assist visitors as and when called upon, ensuring they feel welcome;
  • be an additional point of contact for the Chorley office to ensure the smooth running of office operations;
  • assist in organising office events and activities;
  • organising and maintaining general office documents, files and records;
  • assisting in the preparation and distribution of documents and reports; and
  • ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policies.
