Overview
The main emphasis of this role is to provide a robust and varied admin service to the Child Health Care Unit. Duties include providing administrative support to the Admin teams within their specialty, reconciling clinics in line with timescales, answering telephones, checking in patients and relaying messages.

Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Admin teams within the designated specialty.
- Reconcile clinics in line with required timescales.
- Answer telephone calls, check in patients and relay messages.
- Support the Child Health Care Unit with general administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and IT skills; ability to communicate effectively and adapt to service needs.
- GCSE Maths and English Grade A-C (or equivalent).
- Good organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure and ensure accurate data entry onto patient administration systems.
- Customer-focused with strong attention to detail.
- 18 years of age or over (applies to apprenticeship in Paediatric department).
- Must be able to meet the apprenticeship eligibility: resident in the UK for at least 3 years at the date of starting the apprenticeship program.
Contract and Working Arrangements
- Working Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm (hours to be agreed).
- The role is based in Chesterfield with potential future opportunities at other locations within the health and social care community.
