Applicants for this post must be able to meet the requirements to access the apprenticeship programme which includes being resident in the UK for at least 3 years at the date of starting the apprenticeship programme. As this Apprenticeship is in the Paediatric department, all applicants must be 18 years of age or over.
We are looking to appoint a Business Admin Apprentice to work in Child Health, The Den within the Family Care Division. The successful candidate must be customer focused, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Monday - Friday, between 8am - 5pm (hours to be agreed). Excellent organisational skills and an ability to work under pressure are essential requirements together with great attention to detail for ensuring data is recorded accurately onto the patient administration system(s).
To be successful in this role you will possess computer literacy and a good education. For example: excellent interpersonal and IT skills and to include GCSE Maths and English Grade A-C (or equivalent). You must have effective communication skills and be adaptable to meet the service needs.
The main emphasis of this role is to provide a robust and varied admin service to the Child Health Care Unit.
Duties will include providing administrative support to the Admin teams within their specialty, reconciling clinics in line with timescales, answer telephones, check in patients and relay messages.
