This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Account Manager. You will take end-to-end responsibility for our larger FiT (Feed-in Tariff) customers, resolving their queries, building strong relationships, and ensuring all account activity, from registrations to new product delivery, is handled effectively and compliantly, while also contributing to business development and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Client Management: Take full ownership of resolving client queries and issues, coordinating with internal teams, and keeping clients updated throughout the process.
  • Relationship Building & Retention: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key client organisations to ensure high-quality account management and retention.
  • Comprehensive Account Activity: Effectively manage all account tasks, including registrations, switches, meter data processing, verifications, detail changes, and report generation.
  • Compliance & Improvement: Ensure all activities adhere to the FiT scheme for accuracy and timely delivery, while also discussing satisfaction and seeking improvements with clients to enhance our proposition.
  • Collaborative Account & Business Development: Work as part of a team to deliver excellent account management and support business development across all clients.
  • Specialised Client Support: Manage biennial inspections, AMR verifications, and support clients with generator products and the delivery of new propositions.
  • Portfolio Reporting & Strategy: You'll be responsible for preparing and communicating information to clients and internal stakeholders on the performance of a portfolio, highlighting risks and issues whilst identifying opportunities for improvement, ensuring optimal returns for clients.
What you'll need to succeed

We need someone dedicated to excellent customer service, ready to take direct ownership of customer queries until resolved, and comfortable partnering with internal teams. You'll be an excellent communicator adept at managing high levels of direct customer contact, with a keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills to consistently meet deadlines.

Essentials

  • Industry Understanding: You have a genuine interest in clean technology and some understanding of the wider energy industry, which aligns with our company's mission.
  • Analytical Problem Solver: You're naturally inquisitive, adept at solving complex problems, and comfortable collaborating with both internal teams and external customers to find resolutions.
  • Customer Records & Communication: You have proven experience maintaining accurate customer records and crafting high-quality customer correspondence.
  • Adaptable & Proactive: You're comfortable managing your own workload proactively, adapting to fast-changing business, system, and regulatory needs, and consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Strong Foundations: You possess excellent numerical, administrative, and Excel skills, alongside a track record of effective teamwork.

Desirables

  • Experience in the renewables or wider energy market.
  • Previous Feed-in-Tariff (FiT) Scheme experience
  • Advanced Excel skills.
