Job summary

7035 Anord Mardix (Uk) Limited in Kendal seeks a Project Engineer to bridge Sales, Engineering, Production and Project Management. You’ll provide technical oversight to ensure designs meet standards and client specs.

Day-to-day includes coordinating planning, tender support, converting tender outcomes into deliverables, and supporting live projects on-site. Travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience with busbar trunking and electrical distribution systems
• Strong understanding of single line diagrams and protection devices
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and produce engineering docs
• Working knowledge of BS/IEC standards

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project technical planning and design with execution
• Support sales during tender submissions ensuring technical compliance
• Turn tenders into deliverable designs with engineering review
• Prepare project-specific design calculations
• Communicate with stakeholders clearly
• Support manufacturing during build, assembly and testing
• Review O&M manuals and training materials
• Act as technical contact for live projects and vendor calls
• Assist RCA reporting with Quality team
• Support training and development of staff
• Complete tasks assigned by Line Manager
