Job summary

Specialist Passenger Solutions (SPS), a division of First Bus, is hiring a Cleaner for our Ipswich depot. The role focuses on maintaining the cleanliness of the PCV fleet within scheduled times and adhering to safety, COSHH, and PPE guidelines to ensure a reliable, safe, and comfortable journey for passengers.

Shifts are 5 days over 7, with hours from 15:00 to 00:00, and applicants should have a driving license with their own vehicle due to the hours.

Qualifications

• Experience working flexible hours.
• Must have driving license and own vehicle to get to work due to hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining fleet cleanliness to the highest standard within set schedules.
• Follow health, safety and security guidelines at all times.
• Wear appropriate PPE where required and store equipment safely.
• Minimise wastage and report any damaged or inoperative equipment.
• Keep work area tidy and return equipment to storage after shifts.
• Follow COSHH guidelines when using cleaning materials and chemicals.
• Participate in safety briefings and understand emergency evacuation plans.
• Report accidents or incidents per company procedures.
