Qualifications

• Experience as Electrical Engineer, Auto Electrician, or Electrical Technician in transport or related sectors.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills for complex electrical systems.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive, safety-conscious, and quality-driven approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative maintenance and inspections on vehicle electrical systems.
• Diagnose, repair and minimise downtime of electrical faults.
• Perform electrical installations, modifications, and repairs per procedures.
• Inspect, test, and commission electrical components for safety and reliability.
• Interpret schematics and manufacturer documentation accurately.
• Collaborate with teams to support fleet availability and service delivery.
• Complete maintenance records and defect reports in company systems.
• Ensure work complies with health and safety legislation and best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in reliability and efficiency.
