Job description

At Arriva Chester, our Bus Drivers are at the heart of the communities we serve. About the Role:

You’ll have a PCV licence. If you don't have a PCV license, please apply to our trainee role instead. The hourly rate for PCV holders is £14.56. We’re offering full-time opportunities with potential for overtime if you’d like to take additional hours.

About You:

You’ll be over 18 with at least 6 months driving experience, no more than 6 points on your licence, and have a PCV licence. If you don’t already have your licence, we are also recruiting for Trainees, so your application will still be considered. If you’re passionate about great customer service and want to help support your local communities, then we’d love to hear from you. The role will be shift-based, so you’ll need to be prepared to work early, evenings, and weekends. Next stop, Arriva.

Hours of Work:

5 out of 7 rotating shift patterns, planned up to 6-8 weeks in advance so you can plan around shifts. Mornings starting from 04:00, Afternoons from 12:00, and Evenings from 18:00 on a rotational basis. We cannot offer fixed early, afternoon, or evenings separately. Overtime available at request/availability.
