We are offering a unique opportunity to join Metroline Manchester as an Apprentice Bus Driver, completing an enhanced training package over a 13-month period. You will be enrolled onto the Level 2 Passenger Transport Bus Driver Apprenticeship, delivered in partnership with industry experts Realise. You’ll be on the road driving one of our buses within two months. The apprenticeship includes classroom and on-bus sessions to build your knowledge further.

Our apprenticeship program focuses on building transferable skills and knowledge to help you grow within the Transport industry. We seek driven and enthusiastic individuals who are committed and eager to seize opportunities.

Pay: £12.60 during training, rising to £13.93 after 2-3 months.

Training

You will be enrolled onto the Level 2 Passenger Transport Bus Driver Apprenticeship, which includes obtaining your Passenger Carrying Vehicle licence and Drivers Qualification Card within the first 2 months.

The apprenticeship combines practical driver training with classroom sessions, including:

• On-road training for PCV licence
• Route and vehicle familiarisation
• 8 classroom sessions with Realise
• 10 Maths & English Functional Skills sessions to achieve Level 1 Qualification if needed
