Job summary

Stagecoach is recruiting in Ashford for an apprentice Bus Driver. You’ll be paid during training (£12.21/hour) and complete a Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship, gaining a PCV licence and an externally recognised qualification.

After qualifying, you can earn around £30,420 per year with a 39-hour weekly schedule. Based at Ashford depot, you’ll join a friendly team delivering safe, reliable journeys and great customer service across our routes.

Qualifications

• Friendly, safety-conscious attitude and a passion for helping customers.
• Able to work as part of a team in a busy environment.
• Hold a valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Right to work in the UK and be in the country for DVLA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Complete training to obtain a PCV licence and Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship.
• Drive Stagecoach buses safely and reliably to provide excellent customer service.
• Deliver a welcoming, helpful experience for all passengers.
• Work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Develop within the company into future roles such as Inspector or Instructor.
