Start Your Bus Driving Career with Arriva at our Blyth depot- PCV and Trainee Opportunities Available!

Pay Rates:

Trainee Drivers

• Monday to Friday: GBP13.25 per hour rising to GBP13.55 after 12 months and then rising again to GBP15.40 after 24 months.

• Weekends: GBP13.70 per hour rising to GBP14.00 after 12 months and then rising again to GBP15.85 after 24 months.

• Bank Holidays: GBP30 in additional bonus paid per shift.

Fully Qualified PCV Drivers

• Monday to Friday: GBP13.55 per hour, rising to GBP15.40 per hour after passing probation.

• Weekends: GBP14.00 per hour, rising to GBP15.85 per hour after passing probation.

Qualified drivers with at least 2 years but driving experience in the last 5 years will start on GBP13.55 p/h basic, otherwise the starting rate will be GBP13.25 p/h

Pay rates reviewed via frequent pay negotiations.

Shift Patterns:

• 5 out of 7 rotating shift patterns, planned up to 6-8 weeks in advance so you can plan around shifts.
• Mornings starting from 04:00, Afternoons start from 12:00 and Evenings from 18:00 on a rotational basis.
• We cannot offer fixed early, afternoon or evenings separately.
• Overtime available on request.

Requirements:

• Be over 18 years old with at least 6 months of driving experience.
• Hold a valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Pass a drug and alcohol test.
• Great customer service and communication skills.
• Hold a full PCV licence (if qualified PCV driver)
