Salary

Circa £30,000 per annum, 40hrs per week, 5 days in 7 rolling shift pattern, 16:30hrs - 00:30hrs. PCV licence preferable, full UK driving licence essential.

  • Based at our Guildford depot, located at Riverway Industrial Estate, Peasmarsh
  • Pay rate of circa £30,000 per annum
  • Shift pattern of 16:30hrs - 00:30hrs, rolling shift working 5 days in 7

At Stagecoach, our Bus Depot Service Assistants play a vital behind-the-scenes role in keeping our buses clean, safe, and ready to hit the road. You’ll be an essential part of a supportive team that helps make sure thousands of people get to where they need to be, every single day.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Fuelling and oiling our fleet of buses and coaches
  • Driving (shunting) vehicles safely around the depot and parking them correctly
  • Cleaning the interior and exterior of our vehicles, including deep cleans and under-chassis washes using approved equipment
  • Keeping our premises tidy and hygienic, including washrooms
  • Carrying out vehicle changeovers, breakdown support, and collecting/delivering vehicles or parts when needed
  • Logging fuel and oil usage and completing daily checks on equipment
  • Supporting your team and contributing to a safe, efficient depot operation

What we’re looking for:

  • A PCV licencepreferable.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and pride in doing a job well
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to keeping things clean and safe
  • A team player who communicates clearly and supports others
  • Willingness to learn – we’ll train you on everything you need to know
