Job summary

Venatu Consulting Ltd is recruiting for Bus Cleaners in Weston-super-Mare to join our team on a provisional one-week assignment.

Shifts are 6:00pm to 2:00am, Tuesday to Saturday, starting Tuesday 15th September, with potential for further work.

You will clean interior and exterior of buses, work as part of a team, and must be reliable, punctual, with good attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
• Experience in commercial/industrial cleaning would be advantageous.
• Must be available to work Tuesday to Saturday during the initial week.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• Physically able to carry out cleaning duties.

Bus Cleaner

Are you reliable, hardworking and take pride in keeping things clean and presentable? We are currently looking for Bus Cleaners to join our team in Weston-super-Mare.

This is a provisional one-week assignment, starting Tuesday 15th September, with the potential for further work depending on the client’s requirements and performance.

You must be available to work Tuesday to Saturday during this initial week.

The Role

As a Bus Cleaner, you will play an important role in ensuring buses are clean, hygienic and ready for passengers each day.

You will be responsible for cleaning both the interior and exterior areas of the buses, working efficiently as part of a team to ensure vehicles are cleaned to the required standard within the available time.

This is a hands‑on role which involves being on your feet for the majority of the shift and carrying out repetitive cleaning tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly cleaning and sanitising the interior of buses
• Cleaning seats, floors, windows, handrails, steps and other passenger areas
• Removing litter and emptying waste bins
• Cleaning exterior areas of buses where required
• Ensuring buses are presented to a high standard and ready for service
• Checking vehicles for lost property and following the correct procedure when items are found
• Working efficiently to ensure buses are cleaned within the required timescales
• Following all relevant cleaning, health and safety procedures
• Reporting any damage, defects or issues identified while cleaning
• Working alongside other members of the cleaning team to meet nightly deadlines

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential
• Experience in a commercial, industrial, transport or similar cleaning environment would be advantageous
• Good attention to detail and pride in your work
• Reliable and punctual
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
• Comfortable working on your feet for the duration of the shift
• Physically able to carry out cleaning duties, including bending, stretching and repetitive tasks
• Able to work independently and follow instructions
• Good understanding of the importance of cleanliness and hygiene
• Must be available to work Tuesday to Saturday for the initial week starting Tuesday 15th September

Important Information

This assignment is provisionally for one week only, starting Tuesday 15th September and running through to Saturday 19th September.

Candidates must be able to commit to all five shifts during this initial period. Further work may be available depending on the client’s requirements, but this cannot be guaranteed at this stage.
