Job summary

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a motivated Band 6 Nurse to specialise in Burns and Plastics. You will join a Multidisciplinary Team to ensure inpatients and outpatients receive high-quality, holistic care, with emphasis on accurate assessment, care planning, and evidence-based dressings.

Qualifications

• Experience in Burns care is essential.
• Band 6 nurse to lead specialist nursing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential to work within a multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess care needs and develop and evaluate programmes of care.
• Manage a caseload on the ward environment or Burns Unit.
• Perform wound dressings and assess wounds, identifying signs of infection.
• Supervise junior qualified staff.
• Work within the Multidisciplinary Team to ensure holistic care in line with Trust policies.
