Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s Burns and Plastic Surgery team in Glasgow Royal Infirmary is seeking a Staff Nurse to join a busy, multidisciplinary service. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centred care to a diverse patient group, working 12-hour shifts on a part-time basis, with pro rata pay and rotational weekends as required.

You must hold a live NMC pin and have post-registration experience in acute or specialist care.

Qualifications

• Live NMC UK pin required.
• Post-registration nursing experience in acute or specialist care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan, deliver and evaluate care.
• Provide high-quality nursing care while upholding dignity and involvement.
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with NMC standards.
• Work with multidisciplinary team to ensure safe care.
• Support junior staff and contribute to audits and professional development.
• Assist in managing resources and supplies.
