What is the job role?

Under the general direction of the Senior Burial Supervisor, and with due regard for the needs of the bereaved, you will supervise burials, provide a caring and efficient burial service, and represent the service to a range of stakeholders.

Who are we looking for?
  • Demonstrable excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate face-to-face, in writing, and by telephone in a caring and empathetic manner with bereaved families, members of the public, and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, in-depth knowledge, and a detailed understanding of the Local Authorities Cemeteries Order.
  • Previous experience in the Bereavement Service industry.
