Summary:

Our client, a leading energy consultancy, is looking for a Bureau Analyst to join their team. As the Bureau Analyst, you will be responsible for bill validation, reporting on client’s energy bills, and reconciling statements with energy suppliers. If you have experience in the energy sector, particularly in bill and invoice validation, energy reporting, and reconciliation, and possess intermediate Excel skills, apply today!

Key responsibilities for the Bureau Analyst:
  1. Ensure timely data collection from suppliers and/or DADCs
  2. Resolve supplier objections and invoice issues
  3. Manage supplier invoice collection efficiently
  4. Process Change of Tenancy (COT) requests
  5. Maintain up-to-date LOAs for all DCs
  6. Set up new clients on the internal platform
  7. Administer client portfolios within the validation system
  8. Collaborate with internal teams and clients to complete data gaps
  9. Generate weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports
  10. Raise and resolve invoice queries with suppliers
  11. Monitor SLAs and meet client deadlines
  12. Support Account Managers during client meetings
  13. Prioritise and address disconnection notices promptly
  14. Assist Carbon and Water teams as needed
Skills and experience required for the Bureau Analyst:
  1. Experience in the energy sector, including bill validation, reporting, and reconciliation
  2. Background in energy consultancy, brokerage, or with a supplier
  3. Familiarity with Optima software (preferred but not essential)
  4. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
  5. Effective communicator with negotiation experience
  6. Detail-oriented and able to work independently
  7. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  8. Confident in engaging with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders
