Job summary

Burberry is hiring a Health & Safety Advisor to shape a proactive safety culture across our UK Supply Chain operations. You will partner with site leaders, provide expert guidance, and travel between manufacturing and distribution sites to uphold high safety standards.

This role focuses on developing systems, analysing safety data, and driving continuous improvement while maintaining compliance and a future-focused safety program across Burberry sites.

Qualifications

• Recognised health and safety qualification with membership of a relevant professional body.
• Experience supporting health and safety activities within manufacturing, distribution or operational environments.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends and propose practical solutions.
• Confident communicator who builds relationships and influences stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted health and safety partner across UK Supply Chain locations.
• Travel between Burberry manufacturing and distribution sites to build partnerships and maintain standards.
• Develop, maintain and enhance health and safety systems, processes and standards for compliance and risk reduction.
• Analyse performance data, identify trends and implement improvements in safety outcomes.
• Lead health and safety communications, training initiatives and awareness activities to promote a positive safety culture.
• Conduct inspections, assessments and incident investigations with effective action tracking.

Working closely with leaders and colleagues across manufacturing and distribution, you will provide expert guidance that protects our people, supports operational excellence and helps ensure our sites remain safe, compliant and future-focused.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as a trusted health and safety partner, providing expert advice and support across UK Supply Chain locations.
• Travel between Burberry manufacturing and distribution sites as required to build strong partnerships, provide guidance and maintain consistent health and safety standards.
• Develop, maintain and enhance health and safety systems, processes and standards to support compliance and reduce risk.
• Analyse performance data, identify trends and implement improvements that strengthen health and safety outcomes.
• Lead health and safety communications, training initiatives and awareness activities that promote a positive safety culture.
• Conduct inspections, assessments and incident investigations, ensuring actions are implemented and risks are effectively managed.

PERSONAL PROFILE

• Recognised health and safety qualification with membership of a relevant professional body, such as IOSH or IIRSM.
• Experience supporting health and safety activities within a manufacturing, distribution or operational environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and recommend practical solutions.
• Confident communicator who can build effective relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Organised and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel across UK Supply Chain locations and undertake occasional night shift visits in support of operational requirements
