JOB PURPOSE

As an ESG Operations Assistant, you will be instrumental in supporting Burberry's sustainability strategy by managing supplier data and documentation related to sustainable claims and targets. You\'ll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure traceability, compliance, and continuous improvement across our supply chain.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the collection and validation of supplier data to support sustainability claims and targets.
  • Serve as the main contact for suppliers and vendors, ensuring alignment with traceability requirements.
  • Manage large datasets, resolving inconsistencies to maintain data accuracy.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across ESG, Supply Chain, and Corporate Responsibility.
  • Communicate effectively across teams, both verbally and in writing.
  • Use data to support performance analysis and inform decision-making.
  • Track KPIs and compile metrics aligned with the traceability roadmap.
  • Develop and deliver training materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve collaboration and streamline processes.
  • Support regular and ad hoc reporting across relevant teams.
PERSONAL PROFILE
  • Strong interest in sustainability and ESG; fashion industry knowledge preferred
  • Degree-level education
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Clear and confident communicator
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn
  • Analytical with a good grasp of KPIs and data insights
