Job summary

Riverside is seeking an Estate Services Operative – Bulk Waste Driver to support site maintenance across London. You will collect, load and transport bulk waste, ensuring safe handling and compliance with company procedures. A full UK driving licence and basic PPE knowledge are essential.

Working pattern is Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm, with an emphasis on safe operations and resident safety. Riverside offers learning opportunities and a benefits package as part of a permanent role.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Competency-based training and experience.
• Knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Awareness of risk assessment for residents, colleagues and public during operations.
• Understanding of safe manual handling for bulk waste.

Responsibilities

• Attend allocated sites and carry out scheduled bulk waste collections.
• Clear fly-tipped rubbish and other waste from allocated sites as required.
• Keep car parks and external areas clear and tidy as part of bulk waste operations.
• Safely load, secure, transport and unload bulk waste using the company vehicle and equipment.
• Drive between sites to undertake scheduled bulk waste collections and duties.
• Carry out vehicle checks and report defects or safety concerns.
