Contract Type

Permanent – 45 hours per week

Days (Monday – Friday / 08.00-18.00)

£35,942 per annum

About the role:

You will drive a Volvo lorry, equipped with high specifications such as fridges and leather seats, mostly working from Monday to Friday with 9-hour shifts starting around 7/8 am. You will have job security, opportunities for additional hours, and a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan routes and manage your schedule independently.
  • Ensure timely delivery of cages, pallets, freight, stillages, and Yorks.
  • Load and unload goods at various sites, scan consignments, and operate pallet trucks as needed.
  • Inspect your vehicle daily and report defects.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Class 1 Driving Licence
  • Driver CPC qualification card
  • Completion or progress towards DCPC training hours
  • Knowledge of Road Transport Laws and commitment to safety
  • Positive attitude and proactive approach
