Job summary

Perth and Kinross Heritage Trust is seeking an organised Built Heritage Project Officer to support the delivery of the £1.5m Perth City Heritage Fund and related initiatives. You will work with building owners to protect and repair historic buildings, and help deliver training and professional development activities.

The role offers opportunities to contribute to audits, climate impact assessments and to develop within the heritage conservation field, with funding and professional body

Qualifications

• Degree in built heritage or equivalent knowledge preferred.
• Strong organisational and planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of the £1.5m Historic Environment Scotland funded Perth City Heritage Fund.
• Assist with events and activities related to Traditional Building Skills Training and Continuing Professional Development.
• Contribute to materials and skills audits and climate impact assessments.
