Job Description:

My client is looking for a Construction Manager to lead and be accountable for Buildings Construction Management on their Headhouse works. You will ensure that the scope of work is delivered safely, on time, and to the required standards, meeting the acceptance criteria and achieving the expected financial outcomes.

This is a joint venture project involving building tunnels and shafts for the second phase of National Grid’s scheme to rewire the capital and replace aging electricity cables. The role involves delivering mechanical and electrical (M&E) works and headhouses for this phase.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• HNC / HND or NVQ Level 5 (or Degree)
• Appropriate safety training and qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, TSTS)
• 5+ years of experience in managing major engineering projects
• Technical knowledge relevant to the works
• Client and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of planning & programming
