Salary: $96,528.40 - $105,770.45 + 11.5% Super

About The Role
Liverpool City Council (Council) is seeking to permanently appoint a suitably qualified, experienced, and skilled Architect to the position of Buildings and Facilities Planner. The purpose of the position is to forward plan and design a pipeline of community buildings and facilities, across the Liverpool LGA.
Key responsibilities of the position include (but are not limited to) the following:
Undertaking comprehensive and detailed demographic analysis across the Liverpool LGA, to understand changes to local population and respective user needs.
Developing and maintaining; policies, strategies, master plans, concept designs, plans of management, and other documentation relating to buildings and facilities.
Providing technical advice and input into projects being delivered by other teams within Council, the NSW Government, private developers and/or other organisations.
Providing technical assistance to teams managing the execution of projects that have been planned / designed by the Community Planning team.
Preparing grant applications, to seek funding for buildings and facilities projects.
Liaising with relevant internal and external stakeholders and the community, as required.
Attending and presenting at inter-departmental meetings, governance / community committee meetings, workshops and as part of community consultation activities.
