As a Building Surveyor focused on valuations, you will support our clients with high-quality professional advice on a range of property types. You will work closely with housing associations, private clients, developers, and investors, delivering accurate, RICS-compliant valuation reports and building surveys across a variety of asset classes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake Red Book-compliant residential and commercial property valuations
  • Conduct building surveys and provide technical due diligence as needed
  • Prepare clear, concise, and accurate valuation reports
  • Liaise with lenders, housing providers, and private clients
  • Assist with stock condition and reinstatement cost assessments where required
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of valuation methodology, market trends, and compliance standards
  • Contribute to business development and client relationship management

REQUIREMENTS

  • AssocRICS qualified with a focus on valuation
  • Demonstrable experience in residential and/or commercial valuations
  • Good working knowledge of RICS Valuation – Global Standards (Red Book)
  • Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills
  • Self-motivated with a high level of professional integrity
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required

REWARDS AND BENEFITS

Salary is negotiable depending on the individual and their experience, up to £55,000 per annum. Other benefits include pension scheme, 28 days paid holiday, APC training and development, varied workload and travel expenses
