Job Description:

Best Snag Scotland is seeking a Building Surveyor or Site Manager to join their team. We are Scotland's only dedicated snagging company owned and operated by Chartered Surveyors.

The role offers flexibility and is suitable for a current Building Surveyor or Site Manager seeking better work/life balance. The candidate must be MRICS or MCIOB and ideally have previous new build site management experience, as inspections focus on new build properties.

Salary potential ranges from £45,000 to £55,000. The position is for someone self-employed or looking to become self-employed, with full support provided to set up.

Expect approximately one survey per day, enabling a good work/life balance. Some days may end earlier than standard hours, while others may require working into the evening to meet deadlines.

You will determine your own holidays, with the potential to earn £45,000-£55,000 annually and take up to 40 days off.

Training on our systems and processes will be provided. Must have own transport and be willing to travel across the east, west, and as far north as Perth, primarily in the central belt.

The ideal candidate is punctual, well-presented, motivated, driven, an excellent communicator, and customer-focused. Comfort working independently in residential settings and being health and safety conscious are essential.
