Valleys to Coast is seeking a Surveyor to provide a broad surveying service across its property portfolio. The role focuses on damp, mould and condensation, HHSRS, complaints, boundary matters and pre/post-works inspections in a hybrid working environment.

You will manage technical repairs with tenants and contractors, assess alteration requests, liaise with statutory bodies and maintain accurate asset and budget information while meeting health, safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in housing/property maintenance and refurbishment.
• Knowledge of housing and property legislation and best practices.
• Membership of CIOB/CIH/RICS advantageous; APC pursuit possible.

Aufgaben

• Undertake complex damp, mould and condensation inspections, including intrusive surveys.
• Identify hazards via HHSRS assessments and support WHQS issue resolution.
• Carry out pre/post-works inspections and prepare detailed specifications.
• Manage technical repairs and projects with tenants and contractors.
• Investigate boundary issues and provide technical guidance for resolutions.
• Assess alteration requests and unauthorised works.
• Prepare referrals for decarbonisation and planned works.
• Manage subcontracted works, including ordering, invoicing and variations.
• Liaise with statutory bodies such as Council, Welsh Water and NRW as needed.
• Support leaseholder engagement and party wall agreements.
• Maintain asset and budget data; ensure health, safety and regulatory compliance.
