Responsibilities

• Site Supervision and Management:Oversee and coordinate the work of onsite technicians, ensuring tasks are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project specifications and timelines.
• External Wall Surveys:Conduct detailed inspections of building façades, external walls, and cladding systems across various sites within the UK, documenting conditions and identifying issues.
• Technical Reporting:Compile accurate and comprehensive technical reports based on site inspections. Ensure all data collected is precise, well-documented, and presented clearly to facilitate decision-making.
• Client Liaison:Act as a point of contact for clients on site, providing updates, discussing findings, and addressing any technical queries professionally and confidently.
• Data Management:Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and survey data, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible for project review and compliance purposes.
• Health and Safety Compliance:Enforce and adhere to all health and safety regulations on site, promoting a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Project Coordination:Collaborate with design teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to support project requirements, inspections, and technical assessments.
• Willingness to Travel:Be prepared to undertake project work at various locations across the UK, with flexibility to work away from home as required.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in building surveying and facade engineering, with a degree in the built environment or a related field.

Partnering with onsite technicians, you will be responsible for conducting external wall surveys, managing site operations, and delivering detailed technical reports. Strong communication skills and the ability to produce clear, accurate documentation are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in building surveying and/or facade engineering
• Degree in the built environment or relevant field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to produce comprehensive technical reports
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
• Willingness to travel across the UK for site inspections

Salary Package:

We offer a competitive salary package, with the range for the right candidate typically between £60,000 and £80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
