Randstad CPE in Holborn, London, is seeking a Building Surveyor to deliver building surveying services in line with RICS standards. The role combines client liaison, contract administration, and development monitoring within a diverse portfolio.

You will work with autonomy and in a team, handling party wall matters, licences for alterations, defect diagnosis, and capital expenditure planning. A BSc/MSc with MCIOB/AssocRICS/MRICS and strong IT literacy are preferred.

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) and/or MSc in a relevant building surveying discipline.
• Professional memberships MCIOB and/or AssocRICS/MRICS preferred.
• Able to operate under RICS code of practice and current legislation.

Responsabilités

• Carry out initial Condition Surveys and prepare specifications of works.
• Review leases, prepare and cost schedules for residential and commercial property.
• Oversee minor and major projects using JCT forms and monitor CapEx plans.
• Prepare budgets, fee accounts and liaise with property managers.
• Assist with Licences for Alterations and party wall matters.
• Conduct defects investigations and issue remediation recommendations.
• Coordinate health and safety tasks and liaise with relevant consultants.
