Building Surveyor Apprentice - Asset Management

JOB TITLE Building Surveyor Apprentice – Housing Asset Management

WEEKLY WORKING HOURS 37
SALARY RANGE £29,093pa – pro rata for hours worked
TYPE OF CONTRACT Fixed Term Contract – 60 months
LOCATION Stevenage / Hybrid

ABOUT THE ROLE
Whilst studying a degree-level apprenticeship you will be a member of our Housing Asset Management Team. With guidance and support you will be working on surveys, improvements, alterations and maintenance plus both planned and reactive repairs work on predominately residential properties. Tasks will include
- Property and condition surveys
- Scoping out works and project requirements
- Identifying the need for specialists and consultants

ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will have
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English
- Met the entry requirements for degree level studying eg 96 UCAS points or equivalent
- Good Microsoft Office, problem solving, organisation and communication skills
- Some knowledge of construction

Basic skills in AutoCAD would be preferable
