Job summary

A leading consultancy firm is seeking a Building Surveyor with experience in Network Rail frameworks for a project based in Cardiff. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting asset condition surveys, supporting engineers, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Essential qualifications include STE5 and a valid PTS. This is an excellent opportunity with a competitive rate of £410/day, initially for 6 months with potential for extension.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Building Surveyor on Network Rail frameworks.
• Understanding of Building Regulations, CDM Regulations, and Planning & Consents Processes.
• Understanding of track safety, railway possessions, and rail industry construction requirements.
• Valid STE5 and PTS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Carry out asset condition surveys and update records.
• Support engineers with maintenance plans and priorities.
• Monitor works, check quality, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Experience with Network Rail frameworks

Are you a Building Surveyor with experience working on Network Rail frameworks? Do you have a valid PTS and STE5?

This is an excellent opportunity for a Building Surveyor to work on the delivery of Network Rail frameworks across the Wales & Western route. The ideal candidate will have STE5 and a valid PTS.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have experience carrying out asset condition surveys, updating records, and supporting engineers with maintenance plans and priorities. They will also have experience monitoring works, checking quality, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

• Rate: £410/day Umbrella, Inside IR35
• Duration: 6 months, potential for extension
