Recently Qualified Building Surveyor (MRICS or AssocRICS)

Location: Rickmansworth (Hybrid Flexibility Considered)

Basic Salary: £36,166 + 10% fee income (minimum £150K target) + £4K car allowance + Milage + Opportunity to become a stakeholder through an Employee Ownership Trust + Pension + £1,000 annual contribution toward RICS membership, CPD, and learning costs + Benefits

About the Role

As a Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for delivering Level 2 and Level 3 residential and commercial surveys in accordance with RICS Home Survey Standards. You\'ll work closely with a collaborative and experienced team of Chartered Surveyors and consultants, receiving continual technical support and CPD, including funding for RICS membership and ongoing learning.

This is an office-based role during the probation period, after which a hybrid working arrangement may be considered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out Level 2 and Level 3 property inspections and prepare detailed reports
  • Diagnose common and complex defects using sound building pathology
  • Advise clients with clarity, professionalism, and practical recommendations
  • Communicate findings effectively through written reports and direct contact
  • Meet a personal fee turnover target of £150,000 per annum
The Ideal Candidate
  • Recently qualified as AssocRICS or MRICS
  • Experience conducting property inspections and writing professional reports
  • Technically sound with an eye for detail and excellent communication skills
  • Motivated, reliable, and keen to build a long-term surveying career
  • Able to work independently while being part of a wider collaborative team
