It’s two preferred days in the office, but there are no mandatory office days. Surveyors of all levels are involved in events, socials and recognition, making for an inclusive and supportive environment.

You’ll have opportunities to do the following (but not pigeon holed into one thing):

Deliver complex commercial building surveying and consultancy commissions, with project values from £1m to £6m+
Oversee landlord & tenant advice, lease event-work, negotiations, dilapidations schedules, and liability assessments
Lead and mentor junior staff (including APC candidates), ensuring technical consistency, quality of report writing, presentation, and client deliverables
Support business development: participate in wins, identify fee-earners, help grow the commercial survey pipeline in London

What you’ll need:

At least 5 years’ experience in commercial building surveying or consultancy, covering areas like project delivery, contract administration, technical due diligence and dilapidations.
Strong communication skills to manage client relationships, negotiate, and present to non-technical stakeholders.
A solid technical foundation in building pathology, compliance with Building Regulations, health & safety, and statutory obligations. Sustainable/ESG awareness is a plus.
