Role & Responsibilities
To assist in generating fees throughout the management and development of existing and new clients and contribute towards the achievement of the financial and other objectives of the Building Surveying Department.
To provide a full building surveying service to external clients and in house where required
Carrying out Building Surveys of all types of commercial buildings and at times residential properties
Preparation of Schedules of Dilapidations
Project management, contract administration and design for refurbishment projects for commercial premises
Undertaking CDM Co-ordinator role for in-house and external clients. Providing professional advice to clients and others as required.
Providing a full Party Wall etc Act 1996 service to Building and Adjoining owners
Preparation of Schedules of Condition
Advising clients on preventative maintenance and planned maintenance strategy and implementing same.
Investigating and advising client on specific building problems / defects
Fire insurance valuations for commercial buildings and property portfolios
Acting as expert witness in building or property disputes and providing appropriate reports etc
Skills & Experience
MRICS Qualified or working towards chartership
