Building Surveyor

Our esteemed client, a well-established multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Didcot, Oxfordshire, is seeking a skilled Building Surveyor to join their dynamic team. This role offers the flexibility of full remote work, with UK-wide site visits approximately three times a week. Building Surveyor Position Overview

1. Delivering professional and project-related building surveying services across various non-residential sectors.
2. Conducting condition surveys, preparing detailed reports, and capturing precise site particulars.
3. Developing specifications and schedules of work.
4. Collaborating with CAD technicians to prepare comprehensive drawing packages.
5. Preparing project budgets and submitting planning and building control applications.
6. Attending client meetings, conducting interim site inspections, and assisting with party wall matters.

Building Surveyor Position Requirements

1. Degree within Building Surveying
2. Must have 4+ years post grad experience
3. Good attention to detail and ability to work independently
4. Ideally Chartered by the RICS
5. Strong negotiation, presentation and report writing skills
6. Experience in undertaking condition surveys and Planned Preventative Maintenance
7. Knowledge of relevant documentation under CDM2015
8. Commercial awareness and the ability to ensure that you are adding maximum value
9. Excellent IT skills
10. Willing to travel UK wide
11. Full UK driving licence

Building Surveyor Position Salary and Benefits

1. Salary: £40k - £45k (DOE - Guide only)
