A prominent and growing national construction consultancy with multiple offices across the UK is looking for a skilled and experienced Building Surveyor to join its Nottingham office.
This is a new role reflecting the continuous influx of new project requirements from both existing and new clients.
Experience of all kinds will be considered, and the working conditions are super-flexible, including hybrid, condensed hours or even part-time.
The Building surveyors role
You will be working alongside the Associate Director and a Graduate Building Surveyor, with a further 3 Quantity Surveyors supporting the overall team. Ideally you will cover both project and surveying/reporting duties and will be self-managing from early on.
Your workload will be spread amongst a wide variety of sectors, from residential, to heritage / listed buildings, to ecclesiastical and public sector.
There is considerable flexibility even within the role and duties themselves, with the Consultancy being open to working around your skill set and preferences.
Some travelling is essential, primarily in the East Midlands but also, occasionally, further afield. A driving licence and car are therefore highly preferable (all mileage reimbursed etc.)
