Bennett and Game currently have the pleasure of representing an award-winning Consultancy based in Newark who are seeking a Building Surveyor to join them, on a full-time permanent basis. The Building Surveyor will be working on a variety of education, commercial, and residential projects across the region. This multidisciplinary consultancy offers a range of services, assisting with architectural, surveying, and civil engineering needs across the UK. Their projects span sectors including Retail, Commercial, Residential, Leisure, Education, Heritage, and Industrial, with project values up to £20M.

Building Surveyor Position Benefits

7. Work as part of a small Building Surveying team involved in sectors such as commercial, industrial, education, residential, and heritage.
8. Current areas of work include:
9. Small project works, including specification writing, Schedules of work, preparing JCT Contracts, and Contract Administration roles.
10. Condition reports
11. Party Wall Awards
12. Diagnosis and remedy of building defects
13. Pre-acquisition reports
14. Preparation of dilapidation reports
15. Negotiation of dilapidation claims
16. Hold a relevant degree in Building Surveying or similar
17. Ideally MRICS or MCIOB qualified (not essential)
18. Minimum 3 years experience as a Building Surveyor
19. Ability to use AutoCAD is desirable, but not essential
20. Proficiency in MS Office Suite
21. Full driving license
