About the Role

An award-winning property and construction consultancy in Liverpool is seeking an experienced Building Surveyor (3+ years) to join their team. You\'ll work on diverse projects across Housing, Healthcare, Commercial, Heritage, Education, and Leisure sectors, with strong career growth and professional support.

The ideal candidate will be project focused with the desire to work towards their APC, for which they will have a fully structured training process and be supported throughout.

Key Duties
  • Conduct building inspections and surveys
  • Identify defects and write technical reports
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations and safety standards
  • Advise on repairs, maintenance, and improvements
  • Help manage design, procurement, and project delivery
  • Prepare specifications, schedules, and tender documents
  • Create AutoCAD drawings
  • Attend site meetings and monitor progress
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and consultants
  • Support planning and building control submissions
Requirements
  • 3-4 years’ experience in consultancy
  • Good knowledge of building regulations and construction
  • Experience in commercial, residential, or public sector projects
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication skills and client relationship management
  • Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple projects
  • Working towards MRICS preferred (full APC support provided)
