PG has proudly collaborated with an award-winning multi-discipline practice in West London. We are looking to strengthen the building consultancy division with the addition of a building surveyor.
The successful building surveyor with benefit from a friendly close-knit group of construction professionals. The group is delivering a range of maintenance, refurbishment and new build schemes across London and surrounding home counites. Work is predominantly across the residential, education and commercial sectors project values range from £100k - £2million.
We are looking for a confident building surveyor to lead schemes, you will be offered a strong pipeline of projects and a collaborative team culture my client is committed to developing staff and supporting their professional growth. You will ideally come from a proven projects background and be able to provide a full range of building surveying services.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a minimum of 3 years of industry experience who is now looking to take the next step in their career and gain chartership via the RICS APC pathway.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct building surveys, condition reports and defect analysis
- Prepare specifications and manage refurbishment and maintenance projects
- Deliver professional services including party wall matters, dilapidations and reinstatement cost assessments
- Liaise with clients, contractors and consultants throughout the project lifecycle
- Work towards completing the APC with structured support and mentoring
Building Surveyor APC
- Degree in Building Surveying or a related field
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a building surveying role
- Strong knowledge across both professional and project based surveying
- Experience in residential, commercial and/or education sectors is preferred
- A motivated individual who is committed to achieving chartered status
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- A full UK driving licence
