Job Title: Building Surveyor

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm (Working from home)

Salary: GBP50,000 - GBP55,000

Duration: Permanent

Benefits : 25 days holiday, Pension, Bonus

Purpose of the role:

  • You will be instrumental in managing the practice s growing workload, supporting our existing client base while also helping to drive new business opportunities. As part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of the business.

Day to Day responsibilities:

  • Manage a broad range of surveying projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties.
  • Undertake professional surveying services including defect diagnosis, project management, party wall matters, and dilapidations.
  • Build and manage relationships with existing clients, while actively seeking and developing new business opportunities.
  • Work independently with flexible working arrangements (remote and office-based work available).
  • Contribute to strategic growth initiatives within the practice.
  • Support and mentor junior team members as the business continues to grow.

Skills and Attribute:

  • MRICS qualified (not essential).
  • 3 + years experience required
  • Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of building surveying disciplines.
  • Commercially aware, with an appetite for developing new client relationships.
  • Personal attributes: methodical, thorough, organised, precise , personable, attention to detail and resourceful.
  • Excellent client-facing skills with a professional and proactive approach.
