They are on the lookout for talented Building Surveyors to join their team. Their success is soaring, and they’re gearing up to take on a diverse range of thrilling projects, serving both public and private clients across various sectors.

The Opportunity

They are looking to attract an experienced“Building Surveyor”to join an existing team in the Torquay office.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking refurbishment projects ranging from £50,000 to £2,000,000
  • Overseeing both traditional and Design & Build (D&B) projects, encompassing new builds and refurbishments
  • Excelling in client management to ensure project success
  • Efficiently handling contract administration responsibilities
  • Expertly preparing comprehensive tender packages
  • Conducting diverse building surveys to support project requirements
  • Leading by example and providing valuable assistance to junior team members

The Ideal Candidate

They are looking for candidates with recent Construction Consultancy experience, as well as:

  • MRICS or willing to work towards Chartereship
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCad as well as a basic understanding of professional services
  • Strong proficiency in IT tools, including Word, Excel, email, etc.
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Outstanding organisational abilities for prioritising work and meeting deadlines
  • Flexible with a positive approach
  • Impressive client-facing skills, personable, and a keen sense of commercial awareness
