Job summary

CCHA is looking for a skilled surveyor to join our Property & Assets team. You will carry out surveys and inspections, oversee contractors and planned maintenance, and support reactive repairs and Damp & Mould cases to keep homes safe and provide good value for money.

You will work with colleagues, tenants and partners to deliver high standards, manage costs and ensure work complies with safety regulations and our policies.

Qualifications

You're a confident and experienced surveyor with a strong understanding of property maintenance, health and safety and the social housing sector.

About the Role

We're looking for a skilled and customer-focused Surveyor to join our Property & Assets team. You'll play a key role in ensuring our homes are safe, well-maintained and provide good value for money for our customers.

You'll carry out surveys and inspections, oversee contractors and planned maintenance programmes, and support the management of reactive repairs and Damp & Mould cases. You'll help ensure work is delivered to a high standard, on time, safely and in line with relevant legislation and CCHA's policies.

Working closely with colleagues, contractors, tenants and other partners, you'll provide practical solutions, manage work and costs effectively, and help us continually improve the service we provide.

This is a varied role where your technical knowledge, problem-solving skills and commitment to excellent customer service will make a real difference to our customers and communities.

About You

You're a confident and experienced surveyor with a strong understanding of property maintenance, health and safety and the social housing sector. You'll be organised, practical and able to manage a varied workload, from inspections and contractor management to planned improvement projects and Damp & Mould cases.

You'll have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a genuine commitment to providing a high-quality service to our customers. You'll be comfortable working collaboratively with colleagues, contractors and tenants, while having the confidence to challenge poor standards and identify opportunities for improvement.
