Job summary

Leeds Consultancy is seeking a Structural Engineer to join its permanent Building Structures team in Leeds. The role involves assessing and inspecting properties across steel, concrete, masonry and timber, and preparing technical reports including dilapidation and due diligence surveys.

You will undertake analysis and design using software such as CSC Fastrak and TEDDS, ensuring high-quality output and coordinating with the design team on commercial, retail, residential and industrial projects

Qualifications

• Masters or degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) is required.

Responsibilities

• Structural engineering assessment and inspection of new and existing properties in steel, concrete, masonry and timber.
• Prepare high quality technical reports such as dilapidation and due diligence surveys.
• Undertake analysis and design using software packages (e.g., CSC Fastrak, TEDDS).
• Ensure quality and consistency of drawings and reports.
• Lead other design team members to achieve coordinated designs.
• Work on refurbishment and building extension projects.
