Job summary

Velocity Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Building Services Manager to join the interiors and refurbishment division of a leading UK main contractor. You will oversee all MEP delivery on commercial/retail fit-out schemes from pre-construction through to handover.

You should have a strong track record with top 100 main contractors and a recognised building services qualification; experience on £1m–£10m projects is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience managing MEP on commercial/retail fit-out projects.
• Proven ability to take projects from pre-construction to handover.
• Experience with £1m–£10m schemes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all MEP aspects of projects from pre-construction to handover.
• Manage delivery across interiors and refurbishment schemes.

Building Services Manager

The Company

This Building Services Manager's role with one of the UK s major main contractor s. They have established themselves as being one the leading main contractor s in the commercial, residential, public and interiors sectors. They work on a diverse range of both new build and refurbishment schemes ranging in value from £500k 50million. The current position is for an experienced Building Services Manager to join their interiors and refurbishment division working on schemes from £500k - £10million

The Person

We are looking for a Building Services Manager who has been working for a top 100 main contractor with experience of commercial or retail fit out projects. You will have experience of taking projects from pre-construction (RIBA stage 3) through delivery to handover and you will be responsible for managing all the MEP aspects of projects.

A recognisable building services qualification is required. Experience of working on fit out and interior projects in the £1m-£10m range is desirable.

Experience of either MOJ or retail banking would also be desirable but not essential.
