Are you an experienced Building Services Manager looking for a new opportunity with a high-end company?

You will work on some amazing projects with a company that has been successfully operating for over 100 years, delivering high-quality traditional and Design & Build contracts. Ideally, if you come from an M&E Consultancy background, as our client, a Main Contractor, believes this will add valuable knowledge to their team.

Role Responsibilities

1. The Building Services Manager will support the Senior Building Services Manager in managing and leading the delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health services installations within the company's project portfolio.
2. Manage each stage of the project delivery process to ensure all works are fully coordinated and completed in accordance with the contract programme.
3. Be an enthusiastic, self-motivated team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Manage regular progress review meetings and prepare stage reports for weekly/monthly updates within the business.
5. Manage your own time effectively, as punctual project delivery is essential.

Experience

• A BTEC in Building Services Engineering, Operations and Maintenance Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a HNC/HND/Degree in Building Services Engineering.
• Considerable industry experience.
• Experience in design management of live schemes and pre-construction activities.
• A strong team player comfortable liaising with management and client teams.
• Strong IT skills.
• Knowledge of Quality, Safety, Environmental, and Legislative systems and procedures.
• Understanding of phasing and construction programming.
• Ability to identify risks and opportunities.
• Strong written and verbal presentation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
• Working knowledge of BREEAM, Part L, Building Regulations, and industry standards.
