Role overview

We’re searching for an incredible Building Services Manager! Our Rondo luxury new Build to Rent development is a stylish new development offering an array of amenities including a Gym, Gym Studio, Cinema room, Private Dining Rooms, Co-Workspaces, Resident Lounges, Terraces, 24/7 concierge, and onsite maintenance.

This role is based full-time within the development. You will be responsible for ensuring the development meets all maintenance, health & safety standards, remains 100% compliant, and delivers exceptional customer service. You will manage a maintenance and housekeeping team.

What will you do?

• Manage maintenance and housekeeping teams effectively
• Budget management
• Promote client relationships and achieve high customer satisfaction
• Develop and monitor quality processes for compliance and improvement
• Address maintenance and cleaning issues proactively and conduct site inspections
• Implement risk assessments and safe operational procedures
• Oversee health and safety audits and follow-up actions
• Ensure compliance with annual testing and training, maintaining records
• Set objectives, conduct one-to-ones, and performance reviews to promote peak performance

What are we looking for?

• Experience in facilities management and health & safety roles
• Excellent communication skills
• Property/residential experience (preferred)
• Experience managing contractors
• IRPM / ARLA qualification (desirable)
• People management skills
• Proven track record in customer service
• Strong commercial and financial acumen
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation
• Proficiency in current health, safety, and environmental legislation
• Good IT skills
