Job summary

Velocity Recruitment is seeking an experienced Building Services Manager for a major main contractor's interiors and refurbishment division in the UK. You will oversee MEP delivery on schemes from £500k to £10m, managing pre-construction through handover and coordinating with design teams and site staff.

The ideal candidate has a strong background with top contractors in commercial or retail fit-out, a recognised building services qualification, and proven ability to drive projects from RIBA

Qualifications

• Experience with top 100 main contractors on fit-out projects.
• Experience from pre-construction (RIBA Stage 3) through delivery to handover.
• Relevant building services qualification is required.
• Experience on £1m-£10m fit-out/interiors projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all MEP aspects of projects from inception through handover.
• Lead interiors and refurbishment schemes with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery within budget.

Building Services Manager

The Company

This Building Services Manager's role with one of the UK's major main contractor's. They have established themselves as being one the leading main contractor's in the commercial, residential, public and interiors sectors. They work on a diverse range of both new build and refurbishment schemes ranging in value from £500k - 50million. The current position is for an experienced Building Services Manager to join their interiors and refurbishment division working on schemes from £500k - £10million.

The Person

We are looking for a Building Services Manager who has been working for a top 100 main contractor with experience of commercial or retail fit out projects. You will have experience of taking projects from pre-construction (RIBA stage 3) through delivery to handover and you will be responsible for managing all the MEP aspects of projects.

A recognisable building services qualification is required. Experience of working on fit out and interiors projects in the £1m-£10m range is desirable.

Experience of either MOJ or retail banking would also be desirable but not essential.
