We're seeking a proactive and technically skilled Building Services Engineer (Mechanical) to join our team. In this role, you'll support the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of mechanical systems across our estate.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the operation and maintenance of mechanical systems such as boilers, ventilation, water systems, CHP plant, and compressors.
  • Diagnosing faults and failures in mechanical services and restoring systems to maintain business continuity.
  • Leading the development and delivery of planned maintenance.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external contractors for high-quality service delivery.
  • Contributing to long-term maintenance planning, risk assessments, and technical documentation.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Qualification in Mechanical or Plant Maintenance, or Building Services Engineering.
  • Significant experience in building services engineering and maintenance management.
  • Strong technical knowledge of modern mechanical systems and compliance standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and planning skills.
  • Knowledge of BMS and CAFM systems or similar.

Additional information:

This is a full-time (40 hours/week), permanent role, with on-call duties (1 week in 4) and additional pay.
