Job summary

ITV is seeking a Building Maintenance Engineer to provide day-to-day maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and general building systems across ITV sites. You will manage plant, supervise subcontractors, and follow a Planned Preventative Maintenance schedule while responding to breakdowns and undertaking minor works.

Travel to other ITV sites is required. The role requires substantial hands-on experience with AHUs, FCUs, plumbing, and electrical systems, plus L8 Legionella water

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining AHUs, FCUs, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• PPM and reactive repair experience.
• Water hygiene testing knowledge (L8 Legionella).
• Familiarity with RAMS and supervising subcontractors.
• IPAF licence required; PASMA and First Aid preferred.
• Proficient with BMS and handheld PDAs.
• Strong customer service and stakeholder interaction.
• Willingness to travel to ITV sites and work out-of-hours.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned, reactive, and condition-based maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
• Maintain AHUs, FCUs, plumbing, and related equipment.
• Perform water hygiene testing per L8 Legionella standards.
• Operate and interrogate BMS.
• Supervise subcontractors and ensure RAMS compliance.
• Ensure health and safety compliance across works.
• Use handheld PDAs for scheduling and reporting.
• Support engineers and collaborate with stakeholders.
